School Vacation Camp
By Clearwater Community Sailing Center
Sailing vacation camp for kids during school breaks, including Thanksgiving Week and Spring Break. Campers learn boathandling, rigging, and knots, and participate in fun on- and off-water activities including swimming and games. All experience levels are welcome.

What to bring: clothes you can get wet, a dry change of clothes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, closed-toed shoes that can get wet (no flip-flops), towel, bagged lunch, and a reusable water bottle. For cooler weather: windbreaker/rain jacket and wetsuit or neoprene leggings recommended. Camp is held regardless of weather. Cancellations 0–14 days before the program receive no refund; session transfers cost $25 per change per child.

The Clearwater Community Sailing Center (CCSC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to provide safe, enriching, and affordable sailing opportunities to local residents and visitors — including youth, seniors, and the disabled — for the enjoyment and benefit of the entire community. CCSC offers boat rentals, private and group sailing lessons, memberships, summer camps, and community events from its waterfront facility on Clearwater Beach.
